Poor Arnie is still with us and is grieving for his Daddy. He loved the company and is desperate for someone, preferably another mature man, to spend his days with, having fuss and walks. Even if you cannot offer a permanent home, we are also looking for somewhere that he can go on foster which would be preferable for him in his current mental state. He needs someone so badly, can YOU be the person Arnie is crying out for??
MY NAME IS Arnie. I am about 12 years old.
Some years ago I came to K9 Crusaders with my then ‘brother.’ We didn’t really get on-we were not the best of friends, so we went our separate ways.
I went to live with a new daddy. It was just him and me, apart from family gatherings, of course. Everyone made a fuss of me and I was much loved, and well cared for. I got used to it and I was happy.
Three months ago everything changed. My daddy died, and I went to live with the family. They loved me very much, but they already had a dog of their own-a very big dog. We didn’t get on. I like human company very much, but I am not very happy about having to share my home or my special people, I get quite stressed about it.
So today I came back to K9 Crusaders. I know them all here and I know they will look after me, but its not the same. I miss my daddy so much. I’m lonely and sad without him, and I’d love to have another home rather than a kennel.
Are you lonely and sad, too? Could we keep each other company?
I walk nicely on the lead. I’m not the fastest, but I do enjoy a walk.
Could I make you smile again? Could you make me happy again?
