THE first prediction for the Brazil World Cup has been made by a dog at K9 Crusaders.

A team of pooches at the Bissoe charity are going to aim to predict the outcomes of matches at the World Cup by selecting food.

This morning Ambull “Chopper” Ross was selected to make his choice and determine who he thinks will win in tonight’s opening match between hosts Brazil and Croatia.

And the four-legged pundit has plumped for a win for the host nation.

Trainer Kez Hollywood said that Ross’ selection was straight forward with no hesitation.

The dog welfare charity has set its four-legged friends the challenge of predicting matches at the tournament.

They themselves will also be pitted against each other to find the dog with the best predicting skills.

The West Briton will be posting updates from the predicting pooches every time they make a decision.
