This hasn’t been the best day. Mum was at her wits’ end. I know she posted earlier. I can’t follow that so I won’t try.
I will say, though, that you have three chances to support K9 Crusaders tomorrow, Saturday 13th May, so please try and get to one of them and meet our terrific crew. They will be at:
Enys Gardens, Penryn, from 10-5, and its under cover.
GW (Great Western, I think) Hotel, Newquay, from 12-3, outdoors.
Rockview Vets Open Day, Roche, St Austell in the afternoon.
Mum says can you all please vote for us with the tokens at Asda in Penryn, and at Tesco in Truro. She says thank you very much.
I leave you with pictures of Boid, and Ronnie and Storm, quite typical of what we do here.
If my mum had not stepped up to be Boid’s keeper, he would have died. We have given him a home for life. He lives with us, and is a really super chap. I think he might be distantly related to me.
Ronnie and Storm came here as their mum was seriously ill. It broke her heart. They have problems. Its not their fault. Mum is determined to help them. They started their Malaseb baths today, and go back to the vet next week for biopsies.
You see, my mum never gives up on any dog that we take in. They all get the best we can do for them. Its hard work for mum, dad and the humans. It costs a lot of money.
Care costs. Hey-thats quite good. Remember-care costs.
Please support by taking action. Loving us is not enough. Taking action and supporting us will enable our survival.
And there is one of me to end with. Night night. Care costs…care costs…care costs…
