POOCHES big and small strutted their stuff for a fundraising dog show.
The Hobo Dog Show was organised by charity K9 Crusaders at Carharrack Village Hall.
Joint organiser Wendy Carbis said: “We called the event the Hobo Dog Show as we’ve had a lot of vet bills lately and people had joked that we are a bit skint.
“The village hall was quite an intimate venue but despite this the event went really well and we had a good turnout of dogs both from the village and our supporters. Dogs included some rehomed dogs that come back for a visit and two of our first puppies born at the kennels, Kara and Freya.
“Also Billie, our Belgian Shepherd Cross, who is still looking for a home and had fun playing with the puppies and taking part in some classes.
“We would also like to thank Kernow Collies for raising £25.12 on their last doggy get-together for K9 Crusaders.”
The show attracted about 20 dogs and raised £280.91 towards Bissoe-based K9 Crusaders’ vet bills, with many dog owners turning up in fancy dress.
