Return of the Pittie!

‘Now look, mum, I’m really not sure about this photo…yes, I know about the new Star Wars movie, but there wasn’t a pibble in it…until now..oh dear, alright, but hurry up and take a photo, then I can take this silly thing off. Honestly, its a dog’s life’…
Thats better. Right. Now what was I going to say? Ah yes-busy times!
First my kennel cousin Buddy finding his forever home, and now another! But..I’m not telling you yet who it is…he he….am going to keep you in suspense for a bit longer..
Isn’t it great news about Zoey Wright, our new patron? I haven’t met Zoey yet, but I’m really looking forward to it. I’d prefer it to be a bit warmer and drier as I’m not at my best in this weather. I think I was meant to hibernate in the winter, but mum keeps making me go out for something called ‘exercise.’ Impressed. Not. Hoomans……
Mum’s been busy catching up on calls and emails, and you know what that means. It means there is a chance of a forever home for a kennel cousin, but it also means the empty kennels fill up again….new guests arriving…the waiting list never seems to get any smaller..even at Christmas, we will be welcoming cousins who have fallen on hard times.
Have you seen the shoebox appeal? Mum and dad are really hoping we get loads again this year, so every kennel cousin can have presents and goodies! I like it when everyone is happy and having fun. It will be awfully hard for the newcomers, but some presents and treats should cheer them a little. That and lots of cuddles from mum and dad.
I don’t really like it when mum comes in smelling of other dogs, but I know its her job to smell of other dogs…
Talking of smells, there’s been some interesting ones coming from the kitchen recently…its that time of year again…oops, dribbling again…and dreaming of a new teddy for my collection…
